Founding Membership Agreement

This Membership Agreement is entered into by and between Carers Connections & Retreats Inc. (the "Association"), an incorporated association of NSW, and the undersigned individual ("Member").

Constitution I agree to adhere to the Association’s constitution and understand that as part of that I have rights and responsibilities.
Code of Conduct I agree to uphold the values of the association and act with honesty and integrity within my capacity as a member. I will adhere to the associations code of conduct and policies and ensure that I have a read and understood these.
Integrity I will not break the law and to the best of my knowledge I am a suitable candidate to become a member and be actively involved in the association’s activities. I understand that Participation is not mandatory but encouraged to further the Association’s goals of supporting carers and facilitating retreats.
Membership Duration I understand that my membership is by invitation and voluntary, and I can resign at the end of my term (1 or 2 years) at the annual general meeting (AGM) and agree to give no less that one month’s notice if this is my intention.
Membership Fees I agree to pay the prescribed annual membership fees of $1. The fee structure may be updated periodically by the Association, and the Member will be notified of any changes.
Termination of Membership The Association reserves the right to revoke membership if the Member breaches the terms of this agreement or engages in conduct detrimental to the Association’s objectives. The Member may terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice.
Liability The Member understands and agrees that participation in the Association’s events and activities is voluntary. The Association will not be liable for any personal injury or damage to property unless directly caused by the negligence of the Association.
Confidentiality The Member agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive or personal information obtained through their membership unless authorised to share such information.
Policy Documents I confirm that I have read and understood all relevant policy documents requested of me at the time of signing
