Michelle Burns

Integrative Counsellor

As a parent, and carer of my own neurodivergent children, I understand the need for a holistic approach to wellbeing and strive to offer an inclusive and affirmative practice for both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients.

There are many factors that need to be considered for each family such as overall development, personal relationships, social participation, culture, and environment. Sometimes we need help to understand other people and how their brains work, and with the right support we can incorporate everyone and work together to flourish and thrive.

I specialise in Individual and Relationship Counselling and am passionate about supporting each person on a whole scale as well as working together with the family unit and its unique dynamics.

In my sessions we focus on strengthening emotional intelligence, building resilience and confidence as well as learning specific tools for conflict management and regulating stress and anxiety.

I look forward to supporting you and your family on your wellness journey.
